2003 STEER SECTION: 121 Steers representing 14 breeds.

Broughton Park (Dozer), by BP Revenge R44 (P) – exhibited by the Burra Community School was awarded the T & R Pastoral Prize for the Champion Heavyweight Steer & The Elders Prize for the Grand Champion Steer on the Hoof.
He then went on to win the T & R Pastoral Prize for Champion Export Carcass &
The T & R Pastoral Trophy for the Grand Champion Led Steer Carcass with 86 points.


Broughton Park Nugget , by Waukaru Gold Ship – exhibited by Trinity College, Gawler, was third highest Scoring Export Carcass with 80 points.
Nepowie Scaffie, by Broughton Park Magnum R42 – exhibited by Kingston Community School was third highest Scoring Domestic Carcass with 81 points.
(These were the three highest scoring carcasses of the 24 Shorthorn steers exhibited.)

Broughton Park Dozer and Broughton Park Nugget teamed with Bundaleer Cracker to win the O’CONNOR TROPHY (a team of three steers) for the second year in succession.

In 2002 Broughton Park (Cecil), by Broughton Park Crusader 10 (P) – exhibited by the Burra Community School, was Reserve Champion Export Carcass with 84 points.
