Sales
Following a rigorous selection process, Broughton Park only offers approximately 40 bulls annually, which are then guaranteed for soundness, fertility and satisfaction. They are available through one of the following avenues.
Privately:
The first selection of 16 month old bulls generally become available for private treaty from July each year, with the full Breedplan information that is available.
Auction Sales:
A team of 8 - 10 are reserved for the RABOBANK SHORTHORN NARACOORTE BULL SALE, on the first Thursday in March each Year. (Thursday March 3rd, 2011.)
The NATIONAL SHORTHORN SHOW & SALE, DUBBO generally completes the studs annual auction offering, with an average of 6 bulls reserved for that fixture. (Tuesday 15th & Wednesday 16th of June, 2010)
Broughton Park bulls have sired five National Champions for five different vendors, since 1985.
Usually all bulls, with the exception of those reserved for auction sales, are sold by the end of Autumn.
